What kind of food am I allowed to bring to the national park?
Currently NO FOOD of any kind is allowed in the park due to Covid 19 and the possibility of wildlife becoming infected by accidentally eating leftovers from a sick tourist. However, there is a cafeteria service available inside the National Park to purchase sandwiches, pizza slices, salads, ice cream, water, coffee, etc.

I am traveling by car, is there parking available by the park entrance?
Manuel Antonio National Park doesn’t have an official parking area, all parking lots outside the main gates are privately owned and managed. The prices are around $6 per car all day long and very safe. There is parking at our meeting point.

Does your company have insurance?
Yes, all of our activities and transportation are fully insured. I will be happy to send you a copy if you or your group would like to have it.

What should I wear for the tour?
Remember that humidity and temperatures are always very high in the tropical rainforest, so wear light breathable clothes. Don’t forget to pack rain coats and ponchos if visiting during rainy season (May until late December). Comfortable hiking or tennis shoes are recommended and swimming suits and towels if you’re thinking of laying or relaxing at the beach. There are places to change your clothes and showers to rinse off after swimming near the park beach.

What about people of older age or physical limitations, can they do your tours?
I totally understand that you want your loved ones to enjoy and have fun while vacationing in beautiful Costa Rica. By law Manuel Antonio National Park lets us drive any kind of vehicle all the way to the main park beach (Playa Manuel Antonio). If you contact me in advance, I am more than happy to organize transportation and ask permission with the park rangers.

Are you able to cater for dietary requirements on your tours where food is provided?
Yes of course. Please let us know your specific requirements in advance so we can prepare accordingly.

¿Qué tipo de comida puedo llevar al parque nacional? ​
Actualmente NO se permiten ALIMENTOS de ningún tipo en el parque debido al Covid 19 y la posibilidad de que la vida silvestre se infecte al comer accidentalmente las sobras de un turista enfermo. Sin embargo, existe un servicio de cafetería disponible dentro del Parque Nacional para adquirir sándwiches, porciones de pizza, ensaladas, helados, agua, café, etc.

Viajo en coche, ¿hay aparcamiento disponible en la entrada del parque?
El Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio no tiene un área de estacionamiento oficial, todos los estacionamientos fuera de las puertas principales son de propiedad y administración privada. Los precios rondan los 6 dólares por coche durante todo el día y son muy seguros. Hay aparcamiento en nuestro punto de encuentro.

¿Su empresa tiene seguro?
Sí, todas nuestras actividades y transporte están totalmente asegurados. Estaré encantado de enviarle una copia si usted o su grupo desean tenerla.

¿Qué debo vestir para el recorrido?
Recuerde que la humedad y las temperaturas siempre son muy altas en la selva tropical, así que use ropa ligera y transpirable. No olvide empacar impermeables y ponchos si visita durante la temporada de lluvias (de mayo a finales de diciembre). Se recomiendan zapatos cómodos para caminar o tenis y trajes de baño y toallas si estás pensando en tumbarte o relajarte en la playa. Hay lugares para cambiarse de ropa y duchas para enjuagarse después de nadar cerca de la playa del parque.

¿Qué pasa con las personas de mayor edad o limitaciones físicas, pueden hacer sus tours?
Entiendo totalmente que usted quiera que sus seres queridos disfruten y se diviertan mientras están de vacaciones en la hermosa Costa Rica. Por ley el Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio nos permite conducir cualquier tipo de vehículo hasta la playa principal del parque (Playa Manuel Antonio). Si se comunica conmigo con anticipación, estaré más que feliz de organizar el transporte y pedir permiso a los guardaparques.
¿Puede atender los requisitos dietéticos en sus recorridos donde se proporciona comida?
Sí, claro. Háganos saber sus requisitos específicos con anticipación para que podamos prepararnos en consecuencia.
